National Teachers College, Manila · Session 2 · 5 September 2026
The finding
Participants didn’t rate the session. They repeated it.
Every session in the series rated well — between 3.85 and 3.87 on a four-point scale. What separates this one sits in the free-text answers, where participants wrote in their own words about what they would take back into their classrooms.
“Your ACE framework — Acceptance, Compassion, and Empathy — was, by a wide margin, the most frequently repeated idea from any speaker across the entire three-session series.”

How this was measured
NTC surveyed participants after each session of Abot Tanaw, Abot Pangarap, its National Teachers Month series marking the college’s 98th founding anniversary. Six closed items were scored on a four-point scale and reported as weighted means with standard deviations; an open “key takeaway” field was coded thematically. The series drew 12,003 responses across three sessions — 11,364 from NTC students, faculty and staff and 639 from outside NTC, including partner-institution faculty, in-service and pre-service teachers, and advocacy representatives. Session 2 accounted for 4,114 of those. All figures, quotations and graphics on this page are NTC’s, reproduced with the college’s written permission.
